What we collect — and what we don't

MK1 has no user accounts and no login anywhere on this site. The only place mk1.co.kr asks for personal information is the inquiry form on the Contact page. Nowhere else on the site collects personal data.

When you submit that form, we receive:

  • Your name
  • Your country
  • An email address or WhatsApp number, so we can reply
  • Your message
  • If you're asking about a specific car, which vehicle you mean

How the contact form actually works

The form does not submit to a server. When you press "Send inquiry," it opens your own email app with a message already addressed to kevin@mk1.co.kr and filled in with what you typed. You review it, and you send it yourself, from your own device and your own email account.

MK1 does not operate a server, database, or CRM behind this site. Your information doesn't pass through or get stored on any MK1-controlled system before you send it — it goes directly from your device to your inbox to ours, the same way any email does.

Why we use it

We use the information you send only to reply to your inquiry — to answer your question, discuss a car, or follow up on a partnership or marketing request. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

How long we keep it

Because MK1 has no database, there's no automatic deletion schedule. Your message exists as an email in Kevin's inbox, kept for as long as ordinary business correspondence normally is. If you'd like it deleted, email kevin@mk1.co.kr and we'll remove it.

Who else sees it

No one. We don't share the information you send with advertisers, analytics platforms, or any other third party. We don't use a CRM today — if that changes, we'll update this policy before it does, and describe exactly what changes for you.

We also don't move your inquiry data outside Korea, because it never reaches a system of ours in the first place (see "How the contact form actually works" above).

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers of any kind — no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no similar tool. Fonts are hosted on our own server, not loaded from a third-party CDN.

The one exception is the Locations section of the Contact page, which embeds a Google Maps view of our office and yard. Loading that map sends your IP address to Google, governed by Google's own privacy policy — this is the only external request made anywhere else on the site.

Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

  • Show you what information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete your message and contact details

Just email kevin@mk1.co.kr. MK1 is a one-person company, so Kevin himself handles these requests directly.

Changes to this policy

If MK1 starts using a CRM, a contact-form service, or any other tool that changes how your information is handled, we'll update this page and note the new effective date before the change takes effect.
